The University of Huddersfield and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) held a well-attended network event on February 10th where Logistics and Supply Chain Graduate, Eloise Wright presented her undergraduate dissertation 'Investigating Social Capital Within the Buyer-Supplier Relationship and the Connection to Supply Chain Operations'.

Eloise won the CILT's Logistics Undergraduate Dissertation of the Year Award in 2020, a fantastic achievement in an increasingly competitive area. Eloise took the top award over and above other national submissions from different universities.

A graduate of the Novus sponsored Logistics and Supply Chain course, Eloise benefitted from a year-long placement and subsequent graduate role with a Novus company, and is currently Materials Scheduler with PZ Cussons in Manchester.

The Novus programme, run in conjunction with the university, offers students a range of additional benefits to support their studies, with the aim to make them career-ready upon graduation. This includes a company mentor, summer and third year placements, industry-led seminars and site visits, and ultimately a guaranteed job with a Novus company. The logistics and supply chain sector is currently seeking talented and qualified graduates and is keen to see more students joining these courses.

The University of Huddersfield have developed new courses based on many years of experience in this field. You can choose from Business with Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business with Sustainable Transport Management, Business with Project Management, and Business Data Analytics.
